The Idiot’s Guide To wifi HotSpot Creator Explained

The mobile hotspot feature allows your Android phone to share its cellular data connection by setting up a Wi-Fi network. Other Wi-Fi devices — computers, laptops, other mobile phones — may then access that Wi-Fi network and utilize the phone’s cellular data network. The process is referred to as making a mobile wireless hotspot, although no heat or fire is involved.

To setup a mobile hotspot with the phone, heed these steps:

Turn off the Wi-Fi radio.

There’s no reason in setting up a Wi-Fi hotspot when the first is already available.

Plug the device into a power source.

The mobile hotspot feature can draw lots of power.

Open the Settings app.

It’s on the apps screen. Some phones may have a Mobile Hotspot or 4G Hotspot app. If so, open it.

Touch the More item inside the Wireless & Networks section, and after that Tethering & Portable Hotspot.

The Tethering & Mobile Hotspot item might be located on the main settings app screen.

You may even see text describing the procedure. If so, decline the text.

Touch the box to place a check mark through the Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot or Mobile Hotspot item.

The hotspot is on, however, you may want to confirm a few of the settings.

If the hotspot does not occur or the item is disabled, your phone is incapable of making a Wi-Fi hotspot or the feature is unavailable below your data subscription plan.

Choose the Set Up Wi-Fi Hotspot item to provide the hotspot a title, or SSID, then review, change, or assign your password.

Touch the fields on the Set Up Wi-Fi Hotspot screen to assign a title and password. Touch the Save or OK button to create your changes.

When the mobile hotspot is active, you observe the Hotspot Active notification icon. Then you can access the hotspot through the use of any computer or mobile device which has Wi-Fi capabilities.

To turn off the mobile hotspot, eliminate the check mark as described in Step 5.

The range of mobile hotspot is approximately 30 feet. Items like walls and tornados can affect the signal, making it much shorter.

When you use mobile hotspot, data usage fees apply, and they’re in addition to the fee your cellular provider may charge for that basic service. These fees can also add up quickly.

Don’t forget to turn off the mobile hotspot when you’re done utilizing it. Free Download WiFi HotSpot Creator Software here.
